Creative Projects

Collaboration, openness, flexibility, story and creativity is what drives the projects I work on. From short films, promos, to music videos, no project is too small to be done in the best way possible.

MSc Film and Tv Showcase 2024

I edited this short promo composed of six projects done by University of Portsmouth MSc Film & Tv students 23/24 cohort which I was a part of. This showcase reel was a part of a Postgraduate Showcase event I organised in December 2024. It was a successful event filed with networking opportunities with the filmmakers, actors, students. teachers and friends and made the end of the masters programme even more rewarding.

Recluse - 48 Hour Film Challenge

"Recluse" is a short visual poem created for 48-Hour Film Challenge. This short film won an Award for "Best Screenwriting" and thanks to the generosity of the competition me and my team received a yearly subscription to Raindance Pro Membership.

Psychedelia - 48-Hour Film Challenge
Martyrology (2022) - Short Film

"Psychedelia" is a short film that was created as a part of 48-Hour Film Challenge at the University of Portsmouth and won an Award in "Best Film" category. It was a great exercise in directing, editing and producing under pressure and in such a short amount of time.

A short film based on the work and diaries of Andrei Tarkovsky, one of the most influential directors of all time. His slow cinema inspired us to write and direct this film in an abandoned location that helped create mystic and eerie vibe.

Assisting and writing for this experimental short film that tests the limits and opportunities AI creates in film and video was a big eye-opener. It pushed me to explore AI tools such as Runway and Midjourney and open myself more to using these tools in other projects. Thanks to the director Morteza Jelokhani and our work together I was able to expand my knowledge in the area that wasn't as familiar to me before.

Building Network and Lasting Relationships

Thanks to all the projects I was part of either as a director, writer, editor, producer, runner or an assistant director, I was able to create long-term collaborating relationships of creatives and looking forward to building many more.
