Unfinished (coming up)
This experimental short film follows Meave, a young game developer struggles to finish her work as a series of bizarre events disrupt her, as she slowly loses grip of reality. Meave is going on a journey through grief. She uses the game to distract herself from the pain from the recent passing of her mum from cancer. However, she cannot always hide from her feelings and soon they start to haunt her.
This short film combines live-action with stop-motion, 3D and 2D animation, so it requires managing various teams and a thorough organisation. My task as a production manager was to organise, schedule, plan, and remind the crew of their weekly meetings, check up on the different departments and their work. On set, I was also helping with organisation and support of the crew and ensured smooth filming every day during the two week shoot.

My role as a Production Manager
For this role I had to demonstrate exceptional organizational and leadership skills since I was responsible for overseeing the film's production from pre-production to wrap. Tasked with ensuring that all aspects of the production ran smoothly, I coordinated schedules, managed resources, and facilitated communication between various departments. I perfected my ability to anticipate challenges and address them promptly, supported the director to make sure the creative vision of the film was realized within the constraints of time and budget.
One of my key responsibilities was managing the logistics of the shoot, which required balancing artistic aspirations with practical realities. Additionally, I worked closely with the director and cinematographer to align the logistical framework with the creative goals of the film. My problem-solving skills came in use in navigating the complexities of an experimental project, which often demanded flexibility and adaptability in response to evolving creative needs.
I believe my collaborative leadership style fostered a positive and productive working environment, empowering the team to deliver their best work. I prioritized clear communication and created a structured workflow that kept everyone aligned and motivated. This role as a Production Manager on Unfinished developed my ability to combine technical expertise with a deep understanding of creative processes, which was ultimately the best learning experience.
